Generating the mod's files

We start with the files

Here we'll cover the process of getting the mod's files up and running. For this, we'll mainly use the Curseforge Launcher/App but the steps presented here should also apply to other launchers, in similar ways.

After installing the mod, Minecraft should be launched in order to allow the mod to generate the decursio_stages folder in the game's config folder. The path should be <your_minecraft_instance>/config/decursio_stages.

The easiest way to reach the folder is by right clicking on your instance and selecting the Open Folder option.

This will open you instance folder. If the game was launched with Decursio Stages installed, you'll have the default files already generated.
